Memorial Day marks the unofficial start to summer. Cool off with this rich and creamy Chocolate Almond Shake that is dairy free, and has absolutely no added sugar. With half the fat of a traditional milkshake and only a fraction of the calories, you'll get your shake without the jiggle-and-shake.
Chocolate Almond Shake
Serves 2
1 cup baby spinach
1 cup ice
1 cup unsweetened low-fat almond milk
1 medium banana, peeled
1 tablespoon roasted almond butter
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1/8 teaspoon almond extract
Combine all of the ingredients in a blender, and blend on high until smooth and creamy.
Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.
